Australia looking for better practice

On a  much splendidly warm day in Nottingham, Ricky Ponting won the toss and then opted to bat in the first of very two warm-up fixtures scheduled for Monday.

Australia fielded really a strong side, which  thus included Andrew Symonds, Brett Lee and David Hussey, who flew to South Africa to get compete in the IPL after their  other national duties last month. For Bangladesh, 19-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman Mithun Ali  finally got his first shot at the very  big stage. He will not don the  best wicketkeeping gloves, however.
